Busy, busy, busy

Tomorrow is the last day of VBS at Spotsy Presbyterian. It has been a really fun week! We missed today due to Emma's need for a break. She went to bed last night at 7:30 and got up this morning at 8:45! So we all hung around the house doing much needed housework and laundry. Around 1:30 we headed over to Mrs. Ann's (Nannie's) to swim and Daddy met us there. Home for nap, supper, a spin on the 4 wheeler to Granddaddy and Nan's and home to bed! Not much of a break but at least we were at home for the majority of it!

Tracy went to a retirement party for a fellow firefighter this afternoon. He said he saw guys who worked there when he first went to work at Quantico. Some he hadn't seen in @15-18 years. He spoke with the Chief who hired him way back when. He said that he was proud to hear of all his accomplishments. It sounded as if he was encouraged and was glad that he attended. You know guys, they never act like they want to hear that kind of stuff but we all need to hear it.

I accidentally left my camera at church so I have no photos for now. I want to include photos of the children singing. I've been teaching music this week. It is so heartwarming to hear and see them lifting their sweet voices in praise to the Lord!
