O' Christmas Tree

Our enormous tree is complete! Maybe. It is always such a task for us. It is said to be 9 feet tall but then so are the ceilings and we have the top branch bent down more than halfway so that the angel can fit. It was a labor of love again this year and we have worked on it on and off for over a week. The children love adding ornaments to it so we have left a box out so that they can pull from it and add more when they want. They've made some at Sunday School and then at the Advent Workshop at church so they add them periodically. The twins both asked for trees in their rooms this year so they are decorating those to their heart's desires as well.
Some updates, my cousin Andy and his wife Laura had their baby girl last week. They named her Caroline. Another sweet Caroline for me to love. :) Also, I've found that though we all may think we're preparing for the happy time of Jesus' birthday, some may not be feeling that this is a happy time. Please remember in prayer my friends Nicole, the Oughtons, the Ashtons, the Marshalls, and the Colburns. They are all facing this Christmas without their dear loved ones.
God Bless you all this Advent season.
