A Quick Update

We started VBS at Spotsy Pres. today. That's our home church. It was a fun day. I took my friend Amy's kids Emily and Solon with us. They seemed to really have fun too. Emily was a hoot during music. She picked up on the songs so quickly! I have a feeling we'll see her on American Idol on down the line (if it's still on in about 8-10 years...) .

After VBS we had a dentist appt. for Mason and Madison. They did well. I think this was their 4th time or so. There was nothing new to report; no loose teeth, no new teeth coming in, and still no cavities! Yippie for them!

I have a couple of pictures that I took this weekend with my new camera. It's a Kodak Z812IS. I like it so far. I just have to do some more figuring on all the bells and whistles... Friday was a day at home. They jumped in the little pool for some water dumping time. It ended with potting soil and rocks in it. Quite a concoction they cooked up! This shot was when it was not "Dr.Pepper".

On Saturday we went to the Spotsy YMCA for Family Fun Day. Gracie participated with the other dogs from Blue Gray Spirit-Keepers Therapy Dogs. She was thrilled to be there. Mason and Madison attempted a rock wall. As usual, the moon bounces were on hand but they only did one since it was sooooo hot (that was my decision). The Chick-Fil-A cow was there and not well received by Emma or by Gracie. They didn't care for him so much. Pretty funny to see Gracie check it out and then slink away. She usually is happy to say hi to anyone. Not that dude!
