Drum Roll Please....

We'd like to introduce the newest additions to our family; Bella and Blaze! They are 11 months old and we got them on Friday night. My brother, Brad, and Janet brought them up with them. Funniest thing, Tracy found them on a classified ad site online and they turned out to be living in Wytheville, Va. That's where Brad and Janet and Mom and Dad live (5 hours away)! And get this, the lady who owned them knows Janet. Kinda crazy huh?

They are pretty well behaved for their age. They do get pretty distracted by one another though. They are crate trained and house trained. They've stayed right in the yard with us. The family who had them has three small children as well so they are great with our children. That family lived in a neighborhood where there wasn't a lot of room to run so the pups spent a lot of time in their crate. Both of the parents work full time and the pups had to be crated when they were gone. They were also crated at night, so that ended up being most of their hours. They wanted more for them than being cooped up all the time. It was very hard for them to make the decision to give them away but they just wanted them to be in a place that was better for them but with another family that would love them as much as they did. --Insert the Wheeler Family

They definitely need some training and work but they have great potential. They are big lovers and as sweet as they can be. They love playing with the kids. Bella is gentle and submissive and Blaze is just as his name states. :) He's a little hardheaded, a chewer, and a thief. Gracie has already started to let them know the deal and had some fun playing with them as well. She's still the queen.

This is taking some adjusting on our family, household, lifestyle, etc. but it will work out. The kids already have dibs on who belongs to whom. They also met Max, Tracy's dad's dog. He's almost 3 and very playful like them. That's him on the left. (They skinny black lab. Shhh, don't tell Gracie I said that...) Good old Gracie is rolling with the flow, growling every so often when she feels the need.
