1. I was just telling a friend last night about how thrilled I am that Tracy and I will have been married for 9 years on our next anniversary. Before I met Tracy I was always secretly worried that I'd find someone that I'd click with. I worried that I wouldn't find that man to fill the picture of what forever is in my eyes. Shoot, those nine years seem like nothing. We just roll with each other. I love that.

2. I am strong willed. Sometimes it makes me hard to deal with I guess. This has shown up in all of our children. It stands out in one in particular. Emma gives me a run for my money. Every day. Boy is she strong willed. Mom and Dad say she's just like I was as a little one, only more headstrong. That's that Tracy Wheeler in her! I love her like crazy though. I can't imagine our life without her; without that wonderful gift God gave us! ;)

3. I love dogs. I'm hoping to train Blaze as a therapy dog. He has the ability and the sweet temperament. Bella does too. I can't imagine taking both of them together though. I love the effect that Gracie has on people when I take her to visit nursing homes or the hospital. It's just wonderful how she can brighten someones day. It brightens my day to be able to make that happen just by sharing my dog with someone.

4. I'm still trying to get over my parents moving away. Yeah, it's been over a year but it still stinks. I've been going through some major mommy-sickness lately and she can't come to visit. She hasn't been feeling well enough to make the trip. That upsets me even more that they made the move because it's inevitable that they're getting older and I'm way up here. What happens when one gets sick? I can't just go right up the road "4.3 miles" to be there for them.

5. I'm glad to be back in a school location. I've been teaching remotely at students' homes for the past year. A couple of months ago I started teaching at R.E. Lee part time in the afternoons. That's at the school that M&M attend. I really like being in a school where I'm making new connections and having colleagues again. There's really something to be said for adult conversation.

6. I'm very thankful for all of my many blessings. I have many friends and family who impact me daily. I have a wonderful home and family that I couldn't have dreamed of. Because I'm so blessed I like to pass it on. My parents taught me that a long time ago. I try to remind myself of it every day so that I pass some type of blessing on to someone each day. So, may the Peace of Christ be with you today. :)
