Millions are slated to be heading this way and we're outta here! We're going south for a few days. I wish I could say for the winter but that won't fly. Our school system was "strongly encouraged" by the powers that be to close school on Tuesday, Jan 20. We already have the 19th off. So we're taking the four day weekend as a trip to Grammy and Poppy's.
The kids don't know yet. The girls are getting suspicious though. They saw the suitcases out and were full of questions. I managed to put them off. They would have been packing their whole rooms if I'd told them tonight. I'm sure I'll be in front of their 20 questions in the morning.
Have a great weekend. I plan to. Mom asked what I wanted to eat. We plan on cooking, reading, and playing. I love being at her house. Really it's not that. I just love being with her. I don't care where in the world we are. Just with her and the world is set right again. Manda and Stacey: Meninis, Gigis and Grammys are the best. Nothin' like em, huh?

Manini is coming next weekend! Have fun. Wish I had some place to run and hide. Jason didn't get Tuesday off. I'm sure he'll be pretty pissed commuting north.
