"What today is it Mom? Is today next week, Mom?", said Madison, as I looked at her and thought, "the questions and madness have begun". Why would she ask that? you may wonder... Well, because Thursday night Grandma told the kids that she would come back to see them next week. So Friday passed and I guess

that felt like a week to Madison so Saturday must have been next week to her. And if I said, "today is next week" then that would mean that Gramma was coming back.
It's crazy how their little wheels turn in their heads. "It's gonna be a while. 5 more

days Sweetie. No we can't go to Gramma and Papa's Emma. Why? Because it's NOT their house anymore. No they're not coming back to it Mason. Why did they move to Wytheville? I don't know Madison. Can we go to the new house? Yes, but we'll have to plan it. It'll take a while to get there. Yes Emma, Grandpa's "tired" (retired). Yes, he's resting. No Emma, you can't go to spend the night at

Grandma's.
I guess maybe one day the bitterness will wane. Pray for me that it does please. I give thanks that my children are blessed with such a loving Gramma. It just breaks my heart to help them through this. I try my best to hide my feelings from them. They know I'm sad. I don't let them see all the rest though. My friends and Tracy get the honor of hearing all of that. Thanks to you all, you know who you are. Love ya.
