No, this is not Tracy's parent's house. His mom is Nanny for all of you who know. This is my friend Amy's parent's house. Ann and Jim are fabulous and so gracious to welcome us into their home and pool every day of the week. Their outlook is, the more kids the better! They are also Nanny and Granddaddy to their grandchildren, Emily and Solon (pictured with Mason and Madison). So, my children have adopted them as their own and now you can find us at their other Nannie's house on any hot day now. :)
The children have just taken off with their confidence in the water and their swimming! At the beginning of the summer they were all basically sticking near the side of the pool, clinging to their rings or me, or staying on the steps. Now Madison and Mason are both swimming under water, jumping off the side and then swimming to me under water, sitting on the bottom, and doing flips under water! Emma is also feeling much more comfortable. Until last week she wouldn't get in without holding onto both of my hands. Now she's in her little yellow ring kicking all around the pool and squealing with delight!
Today Daddy called for a down day with no side work and the first thing in order was a trip to the pool! A fun time was had by all. Needless to say he was bombarded with, "Watch me Daddy!Watch what I can do! Look at this! My turn! I'm swimming to you Daddy!". He's had about 15 side jobs lined up so he's been pretty busy. We all enjoyed having him there.
Tomorrow the kids and I are heading to Sumerduck to stay the night with my friends Donnie and Steff. They are welcoming their 3rd child, Sophia, first thing Wednesday morning. We're going to stay so that I can be there for DJ and Joey while Mom and Dad head to the hospital around 5:30am. What an exciting time! Can't wait to meet her!
