So, all went well at Donnie and Steff's. We got there around 6:30 last evening and had dinner first thing. After that, there was one item of very important business.. a Gator ride! As you can see everyone was game, except Steff and Sophie that is! You know I had to take it for a little spin myself today...eat your heart out Doug, Stacey, Steff...We were on the Dusty Trail before 9 am this morning!
Donnie and Steff left for the hospital at 7am and Sophia Marie was born at 10:32 weighing in at 8 lbs 10.6 ozs and 19 inches long. Nana reported that she "has lots of black hair" and Mamaw said that she was just "pretty and pink and just cute little chunky legs". Donnie sounded like he's got it bad already. Those of you with girls know what I mean about that Daddy/Girl love. Steff sounded great too. She said she can't get over how much she looks like DJ when h

just thrilled for them. For those of you who may not remember or may not know, Joey is their second child who came early at 23 weeks 5 days. He is a miracle and Sophia is a special blessing coming at full term after a somewhat nervous and watchful pregnancy. God Bless them! And now I'm off to bed. Later!
