The First Day of Kindergarten

Mason said, "Madison, let's show our backpacks"! So, there they are. Madison's is Ariel from the Little Mermaid.

They were so excited! They got on the bus and off they went. Didn't say bye, didn't look back. Madison did look out the window and wave to us. Mason was busy looking around on the bus. I guess he was checking everything and everyone out. Their Great Aunt Kitty, pictured with them here, was at her house next to Nanny and Granddaddy's watching out the window. She said, "I had to watch my children get on the bus. It's been 30 years since anyone has gotten the bus here and that was their Daddy." Their bus driver, Mrs. Pat Wheeler(no relation), was Tracy's bus driver! Aunt Kitty said there's only one other lady in the county who's been driving longer. Mrs. Wheeler has been driving for 37 years, I believe she said. Aunt Marsha, Nanny, Granddaddy, Mom, and Dad were there for the event.
I suppose tomorrow will be not quite so exciting. I do want to get a photo of them getting on the bus though.
Emma Grace starts preschool at The Learning Tree tomorrow. That's the wonderful Christian preschool that Mason and Madison went to. She's very excited too. Mommy? Still wondering how this is happening on back to back days. Still wondering how it is happening at all. I will not be coming straight home after dropping her off. I'm going to meet a couple of girlfriends at Cracker Barrel. Then to have the van serviced. Then to Sears to roll heads and get our $900 back. Then to Costco. Keeping the mind busy you see. Stacey, I miss you.

My head is still spinning that these kids are growing up before our eyes so quickly! Seems like yesterday we were going to Wednesday Group with Ms. Caroline and we met some of our (now) best friends!! I will keep everyone posted on Meghan's progress thru our Blog. I miss you, too!
