Tracy's turn!

Tracy hasn't slept well since I've been in the sack with him. He says it was way before that too. It can't be my fault because he says that when I fall asleep "a train could come through the room, someone could set off a small explosion under me, etc" and I wouldn't know it. Those are the two that he usually comes up with. :o) I tease him and tell him he's jealous because I sleep so well. Now I feel bad because it's really true.

His sleep/work schedule with being a firefighter for 20 years would have something to do with it I guess. Imagine this: Go to bed and just get to sleep, jump out of bed 45 min. later for about 2 hours, go back to bed, jump back up at the next tone 50 min. later for about 3 hours and come back drenched, shower, lay back down for 1 hour and never get back to sleep, get up for good. That's just a hypothetical night out of my head imagining what he goes through. When he does sleep he snores, shakes, snorts, chokes... So, I'm seeing a pattern here. Then I/we wonder why he's not the most pleasant to be around. Anyone out there remember sleep deprivation? Try it for 20 years... So I try to be patient and love him in consideration for all that he does for our family.

The bottom line...he's having a sleep study done tomorrow night! One place called to schedule the appt. for the earliest in June. I said ,"ABSOLUTELY NOT"! I got on the horn and made it happen at the place where Mason went. It's happening tomorrow. Period. I don't know what we're looking for, just help for him to feel rested when he wakes up. If a machine does it, we'll take 10.

I love Jason's Darth Vader machine. He was driving me bonkers with the snoring. It possibly saved our marriage.

I think Rodney can relate to not sleeping for 20 years. I think I told you he feels like a new man. He only gets up once a night instead of every hour. He has lost weight and maybe his knees will not hurt as much because of the rest.
