Again. Mason did fairly well today with adenoid surgery #2. He was pretty aggravated overall. Being intubated is just yucky and made his throat and mouth yucky and he just didn't like any of it. Add the pain in there with the IV, pulse ox on the finger, wristband and he had a lot to obsess about. Once we got him unhooked and stressed the fact that he WOULD drink, he settled down and let his Tylenol 3 do it's magic. Daddy carried him to the car and we were home by 2:15.
In the grand scheme of things, compared to what so many of our dear friends have gone through, this was a cake walk. We have so many wonderful friends and family who were praying for him and calling when they had the slightest inkling we'd be out. Thank you all and we love you. Good night.

If surgery were a cake, it would be dirt cake. I'm relieved that they're out again. Hoping and praying they don't grow back. Again.
Glad everything went well. Hoping he has a easy recovery.
