It was a good week!

The children had a really good week. They seemed to enjoy their teachers and got good reports in their folders each day. We celebrated by going out on Friday night. We went downtown for a nice evening walk along Caroline Street and Sophia Street and ended it with a cone at Carl's. We drove over for that. :) We took Gracie along and we just all enjoyed seeing all the people out with their dogs. We saw a couple with a Great Pyrenees that was just beautiful. The kids had never seen a dog that big but gentle too.

We received a gift from Edible Arrangements on Thursday night. It was sent by my mom and dad with a note saying, "Happy School Days! Love, Grandma and Papa" . It was their way of letting the kids know they were thinking of them on their first week back. Thanks Mom and Dad. It was a nice surprise! We've enjoyed it. Mason asked for "just one more flower" this evening. They're long gone.
Today we joined Stacey and John in celebrating Lauren's first birthday. She is such a sweet baby. It was a nice get-together. I love this photo of her. It just shows her easy going, sweet, smiley nature. I just kissed her and squeezed her until we had to go.
In closing, I had to add this shot of Emma Grace in the mustang. I have a similar one of Madison that I'll have to dig up. I asked her to "just look at me a little (and not straight on) so that I can see your hair coming out of your hat". This is the pose she gave me. I love it. It scares me though. :) :[ :)
