Fun in the Snow

Jack came over for a sleepover on Monday night. Mason and Jack both had a great time! They played games, wrestled, fought with the Hulk hands, had sword fights and watched movies. We went to get some groceries in the morning because it was too cold to play outside. We had lunch and then went outside when it warmed up to a whopping 30 degrees.

The dogs had a great time chasing us all down the hill as we sledded. Gracie loved going down on the sled with me. She'd come right back to the top and wait for me to get settled and tap on the sled to let her know when to get on.

Bella has decided that she loves Jack. I didn't think she was going to let Jack go to bed on Monday. She lay in the living room just gazing at him and doing this low rumble at him because he wouldn't look at her or talk to her. I then asked him to pet her so she'd stop and she was then in heaven. She loved him. She tried to get up and follow him when he and Mason went to bed. The next morning she was thrilled to see him again. Here's a photo of them in the snow. He was throwing snowballs to her. She'd catch them and eat them.

Madison, Emma, and Caroline had a sleepover at Caroline's house. They did all the girlie kind of things. They also got to go outside. John took them for a sled ride too. They built four snowmen. Oh, the one that the boys made didn't make it long after the photo. He met his demise quickly. You know how boys are...
