We had a busy weekend. Yesterday we went to John and Stacey's neighborhood, Ladysmith Village for a Life is Good Pumpkin Festival. Boy was it a fun time! The day was beautiful and I think the children and the parents had fun. They had @ 2,000 pumpkins cut and gutted and ready to carve. They just needed the people to carve them. They had a hay maze, sack races, tug-o-war, and egg races to name a few activities. Everything was on a donation basis and it all went to the Caroline County Habitat for Humanity and an organization called HomeAid.
We ate, played, listened and danced to a bluegrass band and just enjoyed the day. Thanks to the Broughtons for inviting us to join them. I tried to post some photos but it didn't work, so I'll try again later...maybe in the morning.
