We went to the Spotsylvania Fall Festival this past Saturday. The children had a blast. They enjoyed just about everything there was to offer on the lawn of the Marshall Center that day...pony rides, moon bounces (three different ones), dancing to a live band, watching a K9 demonstration by the Sherriff's dept., and the cotton candy!
It seems that every time they see cotton candy it's at either King's Dominion or some other place where they charge through the nose. The last time I tried to purchase two bags of cotton candy the man told me that it would be "$24 please". That was at a Disney on Ice show. So, they all got their own bag right here down the road from the house! :) They couldn't have been more pleased.
On another note, thank you to all of you who have kept up with Tracy and me through the past weeks. It's hard to see our friends go through losing their babies but comforting to know that we are all a great support for each other. Also, thanks for all the prayers and well wishes for Tracy's surgery. He's still battling terrible headaches but we have a post-op appt. on Thursday. Hopefully that will relieve some pressure that he has from the healing up inside his nose. The Dr. said that it could be 2 months for him to see the full benefits of the surgery. I'm just thankful that the cyst is gone and there is relief in sight for him.
