Happy Thanksgiving

The house is quiet after a long day of preparing to head to Mom and Dad's. I spent it doing some things that I hadn't planned on doing but am glad I did. I was sharing, spending time with my sweet friend, and just slowing down a bit. My plans were to hustle and work all day but I didn't. I just did some of the day. I let the kids play with their best buds and had time with mine. I remembered what is important and gave thanks for that.

A lot of the time I get so wrapped up in what I think needs to be done that I miss what's right in my face. Today and especially tomorrow, I will be reminding myself of the important things. I have so much to be thankful for and I need to slow down to see it every day, not just on Thanksgiving.

Enjoy your day and all that you are blessed with. I know I will. We will all be together. This is the first Thanksgiving that I can remember that Tracy will be with us and not at work. He's off! We're taking a four day trip! Yippee!!

"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever, " Psalm 107:1

Happy Turkey Day. Thanks so much for the coats! I was getting ready to buy some on sale today, but you swooped in and saved the day! Where in the world did you find a Miffy outfit? Ada is wearing it now. Since their pre-loved Wheeler clothes, I didn't even wash them, so she was able to wear it sooner than later. Thanks 100.2 billion.

Love you too! I am truly blessed to have a wonderful friend in you! I had fun hanging out at the house with you and the kids. If you didn't get everything done on your list, you can blame me. I will happily take one for the team! It was time well spent!
